Giving Women’s Football a boost

The Athletic Club “Fundazioa” Foundation is holding firm with regards to their objective concerning the development and promotion of female football in Biscay. As a consequence and just as they did at the end of last season, the Foundation has decided to allow female players from the different clubs and schools in Biscay, who would like to watch the Athletic Club Female team play at home to do so free of charge.

To avoid the inconvenience of having to show their Federation licence, a personalised identity card will be created for all those players, who would like to watch the female team play.

Players can apply for one of these personalised cards at their respective clubs, or schools and the Athletic Club Foundation will advise the schools and/or clubs on what information is needed when applying for a card.

In addition, the Athletic Club “Fundazioa” Foundation will be having meetings with all the clubs and schools that have a female football team in early December. The aim of these meetings is to make these clubs and/or schools aware of the new Sporting Project, which has been designed to boost the number of female players in Biscay. The Foundation will take advantage of these meetings to present the clubs and/or schools with diverse sports gear.
