Club Athletic Monthly Contest

At Club Athletic, every month we will propose a question about the rojiblanco’s history. If you know the answer, simply send an e-mail before Thursday, 23 September to [email protected], indicating your response and your Club Athletic or Supporter membership number (of the Foundation, that is, as the online supporter number is not valid: to get your membership card please follow this link). If you guess correctly, you will enter the drawing for two tickets for the Athletic Club-Sevilla match, an official Athletic Club shirt and ball autographed by the player of your choice.

This month’s question:

This photograph was taken during a Liga match disputed in San Mamés, in which Athletic Club defeated Real Betis by eight goals to nil. In that game, one player excelled over all the rest, scoring several goals that at the end of the season served him to become the Pichichi in the Liga. In the snapshot he’s on the verge of scoring.
