Athletic Club in Funchal

The Athletic Club expedition is in Funchal, where they arrived at 12:15 local time, after a three-hour flight, headed by President Fernando Garcia Macua. From the airport they transferred to Melia Madeira Mare Hotel where they are scheduled to have lunch at 14:00. Travelling with the expedition have been some 150 fans and media representatives. The temperature is about 20 degrees and on arrival in the island it was raining.
