Athletic Club, in Catania

The Athletic Club expedition is in Sicily to dispute its last pre-season friendly match against Catania, this Sunday, 22 August, (Angelo Massimino, at 20:30 hours and rebroadcast by ETB at 22:00 hours).

The squad departed from Bilbao Airport, headed by President Fernando Garcia Macua, Board member Jesus Arancibia, and Jose Angel Iribar, at approximately 10:30 hours and after a two-and-a-half hour flight they arrive at the Italian airport, from where they transferred by bus to the Gran Villa Itria Hotel, with arrival at 13:45 hours, and having been welcomed by several rojiblanco fans.

Lunch is programmed for 14:00 hours. Skies are clear in Catania and the temperature rounds thirty degrees.
