The Athletic Club expedition is in Salzburg, ready for the match that will face them against the locals on Thursday, 3 November, at 19:00h (C+), in the fourth matchday of the UEFA Europa League Group Stage. The group is headed by President Josu Urrutia, Board members Jon Muñoz, Laura Martinez, Ramon Alkorta, Yolanda Lazaro and Jokin Garatea, Sports Director Jose Mari Amorrortu as well as Jose Angel Iribar. President Josu Urrutia made some statements upon the team’s arrival.
They departed at 10:35h from Bilbao airport and arrived in Salzburg around 12:30h, with sunny skies and a temperature of 7º, which is expected to drop to around 2/3º at match time. From the airport they transferred by bus to the Sheraton Salzburg Hotel, where they were scheduled to have lunch at 14:00h.

In that same, accompanying the team were approximately 100 followers and journalists. Altogether some 600 Athletic Club fans are expected to attend the match at the Red Bull Arena and total attendance is expected to be some 12,000 spectators.
