Nike Cup World Stage

The Nike Cup World stage will be disputed in Shanghai (China) between 22 and 25 July. Twenty teams will be participating, they are: two from Africa (Esperance Tunisia-and Ajax Cape Town South Africa) , five American (Vardar-USA, Pachuca Mexico, Boca Juniors-Argentina, Santos-Brazil, Universidad Católica-Chile) another five from Asia (Hu Bei and Sanghai-China, Gamba Osaka-Japan, Pohank Jecheol-South Korea and Bankgkok Christian-Thailand) seven from Europe (Athletic Club, Manchester United-England, Bochum-Germany, Inter Milan-Italy, Celtic-Scotland, Dynamo Zagreb-Croatia, Bursaspor-Turkey) and one from Australia (Kellor Park).

The team will begin to prepare on 10 July and the expedition will consist of sixteen players, all of whom born in 1997, and four coaches. They will travel on 17 July and they are scheduled to return at the conclusion of the tournament.

The Athletic Club cadets earned their right into the tournament after being champions in the two qualifying round, the so-called Northern Stage, celebrated in Gernika, and the so called National Stage held in Elche.
