All is ready for the match between HJK Helsinki and Athletic Club, corresponding to the second leg of the play-off round of the UEFA Europa League (20:00, Alan Kelly -IRL -, Sonera Stadion, ETB-1).
On Thursday, 30 August, as is usual in UEFA Norms, the organizational meeting has been held at the Sonera Stadion facilities beginning at 10:30 hours; all under the supervision of the UEFA delegate, the English Barry Taylor and in the presence of the Irish referee Alan Kelly.
Among the decisions made at this meeting, in addition to administrative and security measures to follow during the match, was the decision about the uniforms to be worn by both teams the uniforms that both teams will wear have also been defined. On the part of Athletic Club, our team will use its second kit, black jersey, red shorts and socks. The goalkeepers will wear gray jerseys and shorts and red socks.
On the part of HJK, its players will be donning a blue and White jersey with vertical lines and blue shorts and socks, whilst the goalkeepers will do so with beige jersey.
Some 6,500 Finnish followers are expected with the presence of approximately half a hundred rojiblanco fans. The temperature in Helsinki is 18 degrees with partly sunny skies. The temperature will be rounding 15 degrees at match time.
President Josu Urrutia has headed the Athletic Club representation, made up of also Board members Jokin Garatea, Yolanda Lázaro and Jon Muñoz, who since 13:30 hours, had lunch with members of the Helsinki delegation.
