Everything is set to dispute the match between Sparta Praha and Athletic Club, corresponding to the second UEFA Europa League Group Phase (19:00, Generali Arena, GolT). On Thursday, 4 October, following UEFA Norms, the organizational meeting has been held at the stadium’s press room, beginning at 10:30 hours, all under the direction of the UEFA delegate, the Luxembourger, Charles Schaak, the first assistant, the Portuguese Bertino Miranda, along with the referee, Jorge Manuel Sousa de Moreira, the assisting referee Jorge Ricardo Santos and the additional assisting referees Nuno Gomez and Miguel Paixao, all of whom are also from Portugal.
Among the decisions made at this meeting, in addition to administrative and security measures to follow during the match, the decision about the kits to be worn by both teams was also defined. On the part of Athletic Club, our team will don green jersey, black shorts and white socks, whilst the goalies will be donning blue jersey, shorts and socks. On the part of Sparta, their players will don red jerseys, white shorts and black socks, whereas their goalkeepers will wear yellow jersey, shorts and socks.
The presence of three hundred Athletic Club followers is expected and a total of about 16,300 spectators at Generali Arena. Skies are cloudy in Prague, with a temperature of 12 degrees and the possibility of rain.
Representatives of both teams hold the usual institutional luncheon.
