“Athleeee….clic” at the Athletic Museum

The photographs of the ‘Athleeee….clic! exhibition – Images of a sentiment – Gu gara nagusiak’, that was seen this past summer at Biscay’s General Assembly (promoters of the exhibit) exhibition hall in Bilbao, will now become a part of the display case that the Athletic Club Museum dedicates to the unforgettable 2011-12season.

The feeling of Athletic Club and Biscay’s General Assembly coincided both as wanting to offer to a tribute to rojiblanco fans as well as to reflect their behavior this past season, by doing so through the images.

In the exhibition ‘Athleeee….clic!’ we resorted to six vanguard members of Biscay’s photojournalism; Zigor Alkorta, Oskar Martinez and Pablo Viñas of Deia, and Borja Agudo, Fernando Gomez and Ignacio Perez of El Correo, whom we wish to thank, along with the journalist and coordinator of the exhibit, Unai Larrea for the cession of the mentioned material to the Museum.

From now on, the material of these professional photographers, will share a space with snapshots sent to the Museum by fans, which we invited to continue sending photographs of their experiences of the past season, either in Bilbao or in other towns, the matches at La Catedral or any away match they may have accompanied Athletic.
