‘Unknown’, is how Juan Luis Fuentes has defined the rival that the Athletic Club women’s team will face in the eighth Liga matchday. Tomorrow, at 12 noon, Athletic Club will face Fundación Albacete at the Andrés Iniesta Sports City facilities.

Current leaders in the competition, the rojiblancas will have as opponent one of the teams making their debut in the Women’s First Division. ‘It is a new team and we are also not familiar with the field. From what we’ve seen so far, they were able to defeat Sevilla and draw against Transportes Alcaine in Zaragoza, therefore, we know that we must continue to work in the same line, fighting in every match and respecting the rival, because in this competition anyone can surprise you’.

The rojiblanco coach recognizes that the match is important because ‘later we must face Levante, Valencia, Atlético Madrid and FC Barcelona. Therefore it is important to bring home a victory so that the team can confront that part of the calendar with confidence’.
