Bilbao Athletic lost 2-0 before CD Tenerife in Heliodoro Rodriguez Lopez Stadium. Lozano and Yeray, in own goal, have been the goal scorers, both in the first half.

A defeat to conclude the first round of the season in an unfortunately repeated screen-played match: a balanced game at the beginning, tidy but non-exultant game by the rivals who took the lead and late, unproductive reaction on our team’s part.

The highlight of the match has been the return of Jonás Ramalho and Martín Bengoa after their lengthy injuries and, on the negative side, the rigorous red card seen by Gil, a circumstance that will prevent him from playing on Saturday in Girona which gives way to the beginning of the second round of the season.
