Another narrow defeat

CD Numancia 3 Bilbao Athletic 2

Bilbao Athletic has been defeated in Los Pajaritos, after losing 3-2 against Numancia. Villalibre and Guarrotxena (from penalty) were the authors of our goals. Alegría (1) and Julio Álvarez (2) overcame the match.

An excellent start of the game, with a fast counter-attack as Villalibre and Munir’s one on one ended on goal successfully. Anyway, it hasn’t been a fluent first time and when half time interval approached, Alegría drew.

During the second half, on Bilbao Athletic’s best moment Julio Álvarez’s shot has bounced a teammate and ended on goal. While the tactical changes within Bilbao Athletic, hosts scored their third goal by a doubtful penalty.

As Pedraza was shown his second yellow card, our group fought counter-attacking and after been pushed Guarrotxena scored. Unfortunately, the last ten minute’s work has been useless.
