The game between CD Lugo and Bilbao Athletic finished with a 2-0, thanks to the goals scored by Caballero and Juanlu; the second one by penalty. The result of the match is once more time what we have been watching during this season: bossing the game, having attempts, but two good efforts by the opponents defeating our squad.

The opening minutes demonstrated what both teams were looking for; Bilbao Athletic forgot the table having a lively start. They could have led the match but Aketxe was not able to score.

Vesga had the header blocked by Roberto, and immediately in a fast counter-attack by the local team, Caballero finished well. Olaetxea had an attempt to level the game but he hit the crossbar. Pita, after a great individual play wasn’t able to score the second, thanks to brilliant intervention of Jon Ander.

After the half time interval, our team continued bossing the game, with great efforts from Guarrotxena and Villalibre. The quality of the game became deficient and it was even worse for Saborit, he got injured and he couldn’t finish the match; he had to leave the pitch when the three replacement were already done and there were still nine minutes left until the final whistle. In the closing stage of the game the local team was awarded penalty.

Next duel will be next Thursday at 20:00 hours against Alavés in Lasesarre.
