Herriz Herri in Mungia

The first edition of Herriz Herri was held in Mungia during the morning of September 11, a set of activities for children that during the following months will visit different towns of Bizkaia.

Athletic Club Foundation director Ricardo Mendiguren, and Alaitz Erkoreka (deputy mayor of Mungia) have been in the opening. Lots of children of Mungia have enjoyed the different play areas, human football, Txikigune, face painting, etc.

Athletic Herriz Herri’s goal is to creat a fun play area for those little ones, to emphasize the idea of football as a game, away from the professionalized image of it. In each activity there will be present the values of sports, and more particularly our values which are, among others, companionship, collaboration, culture of effort and respect for difference.
