Athletic Club and Deportivo Alaves have reached an agreement for the transfer of the player Ibai Gomez to our entity. The player from Santutxu will sign a contract until 30th of June 2022.
Athletic Club and the player have agreed to eliminate the possibility of early termination of the contract by paying a termination clause.
The official presentation of the player will take place tomorrow Friday 11th of January, at 09:00a.m. in the press room Jose Iragorri in San Mames. Today the player will undergo a medical examination.
Ibai Gomez, who will wear the number 19, returns home after a successful journey in Deportivo Alaves whith the intention of improving his records as a zurigorri player between the seasons 2010/11 and 2015/16: 145 official matches with 17 scored goals (13 in League, 3 in UEFA Europe League and 1 in UEFA Champions League).
