Athletic Club initiates the process of changes of locality for the members of the Club who wish to opt for a free different seat from the one they occupy in San Mamés.

The change of locality would take effect for the next match played at San Mamés, unless the sale of tickets to the public for that fixture is already open at the time the change is made, in which case the effect would start from the Monday after the match.

How to participate in the process
The member must show their interest by accessing the link available in the Member’s Txoko on the Club’s official website www.athletic-club.eus and following the indications given there, with his/her member code and PIN number.

The fact of signing up for the process does not imply renouncing to the current location. The member may in any case, and after checking the available seats at their appointment for the change, decide wether they maintain their seat or they change location.

Available localities
On March 15th the Club will publish the list of available seats to make changes.

Criteria for the call
Members registered will become part of a list ordered according to the antiquity of their member card (from older to younger) by which they will be summoned to see the free seats available throughout the stadium.

They can be grouped if they wish and, even if they are a group, they can choose not contiguous seats, although those seats must always be from the same tribune. In case of grouping, they will have to make the change either all the members of the group of none.

Determination of antiquity
Antiquity is defined as the period of time elapse from the date of entry (the last if there are more than one) of a Member into the Club.

For the calculation of antiquity, the period elapse from the date of entry until the date of publication of the list (2nd April, 2019) will be calculated.

To calculate the average seniority of a group, the antiquities of all the members of the group will be added together and divided by the number of members of the group. In this way, all groups and individual Members will be perfectly comparable.
If there is a tie in the seniority calculation, the group (or individual Member) that includes the Member with bigger antiquity will be mentioned first.

If the tie persists, the group (or individual Member) that includes the Member with the Member code closest to 1 will be cited first.

Reduced mobility
Any Member who has a certificate from the Provincial Council of Biscay accrediting any scale of mobility difficulty, or who has documentary evidence of difficulty in going down and up stairs, may choose their seat in row 26 of the lower tier, reserved exclusively for these cases.

Deadline for requesting a change of location
The link will be available at the Members’ Txoko on the Club website from 10:00a.m. on the 1st of March to 12:00p.m. on the 29th of March. No further requests will be dealt with for any reason.

Publication of the list and announcement
The List of Members who, individually or grouped, have requested a change of location will be published the 2nd of April, on the official website of the Club. The list can also be consulted at the Member Service Office in Ibaigane.

It will include the detail of the corresponding Member codes and antiquity, of each individual or of the group, according to their choice.

If an applicant is unable to attend his/her appointment, he/she may communicate this by e-mail, telephone or in person, in order to delay the appointment.

Seat Choice
It will not be necessary for the Member to attend the appointment. It will be enough for the person who does it in his name to present the valid membership card, together with a photocopy of the valid ID Card of the person who comes in representation of the Member. In the case of Members who enjoy a discount for age and antiquity, it will be essential for them to come in person, unless they prove in a duly justified manner that this is not possible.

In the event that the change is effective, the corresponding regularisation will be carried out for the difference between the quota of the current locality and that of the new chosen locality. The payment or collection of the difference will be made in that moment, by card or in cash.

Once the change and regularization has been made, this decision will be irrevocable.

Other considerations
The seats that may be released by members who effectively change seats will not be eligible for other members who have their appointment later, but will be reserved for the process of change of of the following season. The list published by the Club on March 15 will be the only one eligible.

In case a member exchanges his or her seats with another member before the change of locality process start, once the process is over will not be able to perform a reverse exchange with that member. It will also not be possible to carry out exchanges during this process.

The Club will publish, at the end of each working day, the original list of available seats marking in red all those seats that have been chosen that day or in previous days.
