Malin Möstrom gives her shirt to the museum

Malin Moström, accompanied by her family, has visited the Athletic Club Museoa this afternoon and, as a thank you, has delivered the shirt with the number 6 she wore throughout her career with Umeå IK. A shirt and a legendary number for the Swedish club, who decided to retire it as a tribute when Malin announced that he was leaving football. “I can’t think of a better place than the Athletic Club museum for this shirt that means so much to me. It’s a shirt with which I’ve lived very happy moments, and which also represents the sporting spirit and strength of a team, values that I clearly share with Athletic Club.”

The Swedish ex-footballer has been impressed by both the museum and the San Mamés stadium. “It’s a wonderful museum and a spectacular stadium… and what I’d like right now is to put on my boots and go running on the pitch,” declared after her tour around the stadium, where tomorrow she will receive the first One Club Woman Award just after the end of the first part of the derby against Alavés.
