Nearly perfect day for our youth academy

Besides the victory of the first men’s team in San Mamés against Deportivo Alavés and the defeat of Athletic Club ladies’ team at home against Valencia CF, the red-and-white youth categories have enjoyed a couple of days with very good numbers in terms of results and sensations.

The Bilbao Athletic scored for the second time, this case in Tudela by 0-3 with goals from Morcillo, Winner and Victor, to enter in playoff positions of promotion to the Second Division. The CD Basconia, for its part, came back to win in Pasaia 1-2, thanks to the goals of Diarra and Cabo.

The Juniors A continues unbeaten in the Division of Honor that leads: the goals of the first two days were acompannied yesterday by a 1-1 tie against the Antiguoko KE with a goal by Hernandez in the 80th minute that helped to rescue that meritorious point. And the Juniors B maintains the full triumphs, three in as many commitments and a single goal against in the National League, after winning the game ahead of Friday’s 1-0 Danok Bat Club B with a goal by Ibai Sanz.

The Cadets A wins against CD Getxo by 3-0 thanks to the goals from Montero, Santamaría and Ieltxu, with two wins in two matches, with eight goals scored and none conceded. Cadets B, who has not yet started his league, scored 1-4 in the friendly match played in Durango, thanks to goals from Urtzi Albizua, Alejandro Sacristán, Gaizka Alboniga and Asier Hierro.
