Athletic Club’s vice-secretary María Tato has taken part in the seminar ‘The practices of professional football’.

María Tato, Athletic Club’s vice-secretary, has taken part in the ‘Professional leagues, professionalized leagues’ conference day this evening, which AFE (Spanish Footballer’s Association) has organized the ‘The practices of professional football’ seminar at their headquarters in Madrid.

With the draft of the Sport Law bill at the core, María Tato has talked about improvements in gender equality, making special reference to the path followed by Athletic Club towards their women’s team’s professionalization in the last few years. Together with María Tato, the seminar has counted with the participation of footballers Manu Sarabia, Juan Manuel Asensi, Alicia Fuentes and Saray García; journalist and writer, Carme Chaparro; Diego Rivas, AFE General Secretary; Andreu Camps, RFEF General Secretary; Pedro Malabia, Director of LNFP Women’s Football; and Gonzalo de Medinilla, AFE Legal Department Co-director, among other personalities.
