Eunate, Inclusive Sports Award

The Athletic Club player, Eunate Arraiza, has been awarded by the Spanish Committee of Representatives of People with Disabilities (CERMI). CERMI awards seek to recognize initiatives, actions or the work of people or institutions regarding different areas such as labour inclusion, social and scientific research, universal accessibility, inclusive culture, social responsibility, activism and gender, among others, in favour of people with disabilities and their families.

In the category of Inclusive Sports Action, the jury has decided to award the prize to Eunate Arraiza. The player from Biurrun, with hearing impairment, has been a professional female football player since 2012 and she brings all her talent and effort towards sport without exclusion.
