“We must find the right balance between attack and defence”

In the press conference held before their trip to Vigo, Athletic’s manager has talked about the contest between the red-and-white side and RC Celta that will take place tomorrow at 2 p.m. on matchday 8 in LaLiga.

Garitano has highlighted that Athletic “must find the right balance between attack and defence to get a good result.”

The red-and-white manager has acknowledged that they intend “Athletic to be competitive and strong from the start. They have their needs, but we have to get onto the field with the urge to clinch our first victory. We are eager for that victory and we will only be able to win if we do a good game.”

Regarding their rival, he has explained that “player by player, they make a great team. If we do not stay alert, it will certainly be a complicated game.” He has also pointed out that “they tend to play with foot passes, but also do damage when counter-attacking,” highlighting that “once they manage to get out of the first pressure, dangerous players such as Denis Suárez, Santi Mina, Rafinha or Iago Aspas are awaiting in their opponents’ half.”
