Evaluation of our youth academy’s weekend

Apart from the defeat of Athletic Club in Vigo against RC Celta in LaLiga match and the off of the first ladies’ team, the weekend has left the following results for the rest of our teams.

Bilbao Athletic won 1-2 in Fadura against Arenas Club thanks to the headers from Artola and Luengo. Thus, they reached the top of the Group II of the Second Division B. CD Basconia could not score in the visit to Beasain and lost 1-0 in the 8th matchday of the Group IV of the Third Division.

The Juniors A could not continue unbeaten in the Division of Honor category and lost 2-1 in Unbe against SD Eibar in its 5th official commitment, despite being ahead in the scoreboard thank to goal of Iñigo López. Who could recover the triumph after the setbach of the previous match was Juniors B, who beat SD Amorebieta 3-0 with goals from Ibai Sanz, Aaron Bunta and Ibai Asenjo. Juniors B leads the National League.

Cadets A maintains his full of victories in the Basque League, four out of four, after prevailing in Lezama 7-0 against Tolosa CF, with two goals from Ekhi, and one from Mitxel, Bittor, Ieltxu, Vega and Peña. Cadets B debuted in the Division of Honor with a 2-2 draw in Durango, thanks to goals from Asier Hierro and Gaizka Alboniga.

Athletic Club ladies’ team and its subsidiary group played on Friday a friendly match in Lezama. Teams C and Cadets scored in their respective league matches, 9-0 against Balmaseda FC and 8-0 against Basauriko Kimuak FK.
