New commitment at the U23 Premier League Cup

After a narrow defeat in their debut against Paris Saint Germain at the end of last October, Athletic’s U23 team will have the opportunity tomorrow (8.00 pm) to open their scoreboard in the Premier League International Cup U23 in the match against Wolverhampton Wanderers in St George’s Park, in the facilities of the national centre of the English Football Association. The change of location was decided yesterday by the heavy rains of recent days that discouraged the use of the field of play of the Wolves, the field originally planned.

Joseba Etxeberria’s call up for this match is made up of the following 18 players from different categories of the club: Julen Agirrezabala, Jesús Areso, Iñigo Baqué, Julen Bernaola, Jon Cabo, Asier Córdoba, Imanol García de Albeniz, Gorka Guruzeta, Jon Guruzeta, Ander Iruarrizaga, Oier Luengo, Javier Murua, Unai Naveira, Álvaro Núñez, Aitor Paredes, Beñat Prados, Jon Rojo and Antonio Jesús Salado.

The sixth edition of this competition organised by the Premier League started in September and is being played by 24 European clubs, divided into six groups of four teams each.
