Williams, 150 League matches in a row

The striker is the active footballer with most matches in a row played at La Liga after the last clash against Barça at Camp Nou

Iñaki Williams keeps increasing his particular record of matches in a row at the League. The red-and-white striker played yesterday his 150th match in a row at the Camp Nou. Williams is, amongst all the footballers of La Liga, the active player with most games in a row played. He is currently placed seventh in the historical ranking headed by Larrañaga (202) and in which he is just one match far from former goalkeeper Alberto (151) to reach the sixth placement.

The red-and-white 9 player began his spectacular run in 2016, April 20, against Atlético Madrid at San Mamés. Since then, he has taken part in the final of the 2015/16 season (4 matches) as well as in the following three seasons, plus the 31 matchdays he has played in the current 2019/20 League.
