Athletic Club part ways with Imanol de la Sota

Athletic Club has decided to relieve Imanol de la Sota of his duties as head coach of Bilbao Athletic. De la Sota took over as the reserves’ head coach last summer but had been at Lezama since 2019, last season leading the Under-18s to a league title.

His replacement will be announced with the next few hours.

Athletic Club thanks Imanol for the commitment, professionalism he has shown since taking reins of the second team. The Club wishes him all the best in his future endeavours, both personal and professional.
