Official Statement

Athletic Club, FC Barcelona and Real Madrid can confirm that they have taken legal action against the resolutions adopted by the LaLiga Assembly on December 10, which approved the so-called Project Impulse that LaLiga intends to implement with the private equity fund CVC.

The three clubs consider that this is an illegal deal which causes irreparable damage to the entire Spanish football sector and which clearly violates the most fundamental principles of Spanish sports law and LaLiga’s own statutes.
