Iker Muniain in LaLiga’s Team Of the Season
The Athletic captain is among the best midfielders in FIFA 22’s Team of the Season (TOTS) awards.
Athletic Club captain Iker Muniain has made it into EA SPORTS’ LaLiga Team of the Season. This is the first season LaLiga and EA have joined together for this initiative, which seeks to award the best defender, midfielder and forwards of the campaign.
The playmaker’s place among LaLiga’s best was decided by a popular vote, a player vote via the Players App and an expert committee made up of renowned journalists.
Athletic defender Iñigo Martínez was also nominated to be part of this Team Of The Season among the best defenders of the competition.
The award is based on the performance achieved throughout the season and follows the model EA SPORTS uses in FIFA with its Team Of The Week.
