Unai Simón and Iñigo Martínez called up to Spain squad

Athletic Club’s goalkeeper and centre-back have been named by Luis Enrique for the Nations League matches. In addition, Agirrezabala and Vencedor will go with the Under-21s.

Unai Simón and Iñigo Martínez have been named in Luis Enrique’s squad for four UEFA Nations League matches. Both players will be in training from Monday 30 May in Las Rozas. The first match will be on 2 June at the Benito Villamarín against Portugal, on 5 June they will play against the Czech Republic in Prague, then on 9 June they will play in Geneva against Switzerland and they will close this block of matches on 12 June playing again against the Czech Republic at La Rosaleda. All matches kick off at 20:45.

Agirrezabala and Vencedor, with the Under-21s

On the other hand, Julen Agirrezabala and Unai Vencedor have been called up by the Spanish Under-21 team for the last two matches of the qualifying phase for the European Championship 2023 to be played in Georgia and Romania. Luis de la Fuente’s team will visit Ireland on 3 June at 14:00 CEST. The second match against Malta will be played in Melilla on 7 June at 20:45. The two lions will also concentrate on Monday 30 May in Las Rozas.
