Bilbao Athletic will form the basis of Los Rojiblancos' team for the Under-21 competition, where we'll play a minimum of four fixtures in England: against Liverpool, Everton, Fulham and Crystal Palace
Athletic Club have signed up to take part in the Premier League International Cup, an Under-21 competition that takes place in England.
The bulk of our side will be made up of Bilbao Athletic players, but any under-23 footballer contracted to Athletic can be used. The competition will provide valuable experience for those youngsters hoping to make the step up to senior football.
The tournament starts in September and Athletic will play a minimum of fixtures against Premier League clubs. The Cubs will have group stage matches against Crystal Palace, Everton, Fulham and Liverpool.
Valencia CF is the only other LaLiga EA Sports outfit to have entered the tournament, which also includes the likes of PSV, Feyenoord, Celtic, Nice, AS Monaco, Olympique Lyonnais, Benfica, Sparta Prague, Hertha Berlin and Dinamo Zagreb.
