Everton FC vs Athletic Club U21 suspended
Poor weather prevented the Athletic squad from travelling to Liverpool to play their second match of the Premier League International Cup. The match has been rescheduled for November 22
Everton FC Under-21s vs Athletic Club Under-21s in the Premier League International Cup, scheduled to be played this Wednesday in Liverpool, has been called off as poor weather prevented the Athletic travelling party from being able to travel to England.
The fixure has been re-arranged for Wednesday November 22.
Athletic have two other matches scheduled in the 2023/24 Premier League International Cup. On 20 December they will face Fulham in London and later, at a date still to be confirmed, the Cubs will visit Liverpool FC.
On Matchday 1, Carlos Gurpegui's the Under-21 side drew 1-1 with Crystal Palace in London.
