Ernesto Valverde was almost lost for words as he spoke about Athletic Club's "crazy" 4-3 win over RC Celta in Bilbao on Friday night.
In an action-packed encounter, Alex Berenguer tucked away a penalty in the 98th minute to make sure the Lions took all three points.
"It was an absolutely crazy match, a rollercoaster of emotions," Valverde said post-match.
"It could have gone either way, but fortunately we won. We were persistent and got the victory because we went for it.
Athletic have proved themselves adept at dealing with setbacks and chaos throughout this season, and they did it again on Friday.
Valverde added: "Anything could have happened. I haven't recovered from the shock yet, but that's the way it is. Any team could have taken it. We took advantage of one of our best virtues, persistence."
