Johana Ruiz-Olabuenaga to lead Athletic Club's Community Department

Johana Ruiz-Olabuenaga has joined the Athletic Club as the director of our community department. The Bizkaia native has worked for food company Kaiku for more than 17 years, where she held the position of commercial director until joining Athletic.

With a degree in business administration and management from the University of Deusto, Ruiz-Olabuenaga's first major task will be to complete the work already started in setting up the newly created community deparment, which has incorporated the Club Members' service department, the external and institutional relations department as well as the AC Foundation.

This new department has been created with the aim of establishing a communal and comprehensive social strategy that brings the Athletic closer to its Members, makes the club more participative and maximises Athletic Club's social impact across Biscay and The Basque Country.
