86 clubs, 67 more than in the first edition,to take part in Euskal Non-League Day 2024 on March 23 and 24.
The preparations for Euskal Non-League Day continue and we now know the final number of clubs that have signed up for this second edition, which will be held on March 23 and 24: Eighty-six, that is, 67 more than in the first edition.
Athletic Club's chosen slogan to promote the event is "Support local football!" and this can be read on the posters designed for the occasion.
Along with the posters, the 86 participating clubs have received tickets for raffles organised by Athletic Club with the aim of encouraging support for grassroots football. All the money raised from the sale of these tickets will go to the participating clubs. The raffle ticket will cost €3 and the following three prizes up for grabs.
- Double ticket, travel and accommodation for two people to travel with men's first team to a LaLiga away fixture.
- Double ticket for Lions Experience at a LaLiga match at San Mamés. Includes VIP ring seats, welcome pack, and access to the inside of the stadium to experience players' arrival, the warm-ups, and a personal meeting with a Lion after the match.
- Double tickets for a match at San Mames. They will be drawn independently at each of the participating partner club's grounds. The winner will be announced at half-time, with each club having a unique draw. The winning person must be at the ground to receive the prize.
What's more, to encourage attendance at the local grounds, Athletic Club will be giving away a shirt signed by the entire men's first team, a shirt signed by the women's first team and two tickets for a LaLiga match at San Mamés. Those wanting to participate must take a photo of themselves at an NLD match and post it on Twitter, Instagram, TikTok or Facebook on March 23 and 24 using the hashtag #EuskalNonLeagueDay.
