Terzić kicks off his pre-season friendlies with a tour of Biscay
Athletic will face CD Derio, SD Leioa and Sestao River over the course of a week, between 15 and 22 July
Edin Terzić's Athletic side will kick off with a tour of friendly matches across Biscay, offering fans a great opportunity to see The Lions in three different towns.
The first match will take place on Wednesday 15 July in Portugalete, at the La Florida ground, against CD Derio. Athletic will then face SD Leioa at the Jose Ignacio Azkueta (Sarriena) on Saturday 18th to celebrate the town’s 500th anniversary. Finally, on Wednesday 22nd, The Lions will visit Sestao River at Las Llanas. All matches will kick off at 19:30 CEST.
The schedule for the first friendly matches is as follows:
- Wednesday, 15 July: CD Derio vs Athletic Club (Portugalete, 7.30 pm)
- Saturday, 18 July: SD Leioa vs Athletic Club (Leioa, 7.30 pm)
- Wednesday, 22 July: Sestao River Club vs Athletic Club (Sestao, 7.30 pm)
