Edin Terzić sends his first message to the fans from the heart of Lezama
Edin Terzić, Athletic Club’s new head coach, is in Bilbao for a series of work meetings with the club's football operations department.
The manager visited Lezama training ground and the first-team facilities where he will work with his players as he starts preparing for the Lions’ arrival.
Mikel González, the club's general director of football, acted as host, showing Edin around the complex.
The manager sent an initial message to the fans from Lezama, the heart of Athletic Club and our youth academy. Edin feels great pride in belonging to a great club like Athletic and its unique philosophy.
"Hello, Athleticzales! In a few weeks, the season starts and I can’t wait to get back on the pitch and start working with a team again," he said.
"The fact that this team is Athletic makes me feel honoured, very proud and happy. I’m really looking forward to getting to know you all. I can’t wait to feel San Mamés and start creating unique moments and memories together. See you soon, Aupa Athletic!”
Once pre-season starts in the second week of July, Edin will be officially presented to the media at San Mamés.
