Edin Terzić sends his first message to the fans from the heart of Lezama
Edin Terzić, Athletic Club’s exciting new manager, is in Bilbao for a series of working meetings with the sport management of Athletic, which will become a regular fixture over the coming weeks. The manager has visited Lezama training ground, the first-team facilities where he will spend his days working with his players, and has got straight down to work on site to prepare everything for the Lions’ arrival. The General Manager of Football, Mikel González, acted as host to show him around the Red and Whites’ training ground.
The manager wanted to send an initial message to the fans from the heart of Athletic Club, Lezama, the hub of its youth academy. He feels great pride in belonging to a great club like Athletic and its unique philosophy. Later on, with the start of pre-season, scheduled for the second week of July, there will be a presentation to the media at San Mamés.
His opening words were as follows: 'Hello, Athleticzales! In a few weeks, the season starts and I can’t wait to get back on the pitch and start working with a team again. The fact that this team is Athletic makes me feel honored very proud and happy. I’m really looking forward to seeing and to know you soon. I can’t wait to feel San Mamés and start creating unique moments and memories together. See you soon, Aupa Athletic!”
