The Lions add a fourth friendly to their pre-season fixture schedule
Athletic will play a friendly against Burgos CF at El Plantío on Saturday August 1 at 19:00 CEST.
This is the Lions' fourth confirmed pre-season friendly, following the announcement of a tour of Bizkaia which will include matches against CD Derio, SD Leioa and Sestao River.

Despite amassing 72 points during historic season in the Segunda División, Burgos CF finished the 2025/26 campaign in seventh place, just outside the play-offs spots. Never before has a team with that many points missed out on the battle for promotion.
Their former manager, Luis Miguel Ramis, left the club to take on a new role at CA Osasuna, and his replacement is Sergio Francisco, who was dismissed by Real Sociedad last December.
