Athletic Club squad numbers for the 2026/27 season
Our men's first-team players have been assigned shirt numbers for the upcoming campaign
With the 2026/27 season set to start this week, Athletic Club's men's first-team players have been given their squad numbers for the campaign (subject to possible changes during the season).
Among the changes, Beñat Prados will take the number 6 after Mikel Vesga's move to UD Almeria. Meanwhile, Álvaro Djaló, returning from a loan spell in Qatar, will don the number 25. Peio Canales, registered with Bilbao Athletic but a fully-fledged member of the first-team squad, will wear the number 28.
Alex Padilla, Alejandro Rego, Hugo Rincón and Beñat Gerenabarrena now have first-team contracts and will wear no.13, no.20, no.15 and no.24, respectively.
Centre-back Unai Egiluz has not been assigned a number yet as he continues his recovery from a knee injury.
All other first-team squad members will keep their numbers from last season.
Bilbao Athletic players
Athletic Club have so far registered six Bilbao Athletic with LaLiga so they can compete in the top-flight during 2026/27.
Those Cubs, who have youth contracts, will wear the following numbers: Mikel Santos (26), Iker Monreal (30) Johaneko Louis-Jean (31), Selton Sánchez (44), Elijah Gift (27) and Asier Hierro (29).
