Squad list: FC Barcelona vs Athletic Club (LaLiga 2026-27 MD1)

Edin Terzić has named a 24-man squad for Thursday's LaLiga Matchday 1 clash against FC Barcelona at the Spotify Camp Nou. The match will kick-off at 21:00 CEST.

The travelling party will depart for Barcelona from Bilbao Airport at 11:30 on Thursday morning and are expected to arrive to the Hotel Hyatt Regency Barcelona Tower around 13:15.

Yuri included in the squad pending a decision

Athletic Club has appealed against the Disciplinary Committee’s decision to uphold the one-match suspension imposed on Yuri Berchiche and is awaiting the final ruling; as a result, the player has finally been included in the squad. In light of the public acknowledgement by the Referees’ Technical Committee itself – which considers that the red card shown to the Rojiblanco full-back against Sevilla was a ‘clear and manifest error’ – Athletic Club is confident that the appeal will be resolved in its favour today, before the match against FC Barcelona.
