Athletic Club and RCD Espanyol have reached an agreement for the loan of right-back Andoni Gorosabel until the end of the season.
The loan includes a mandatory buy-out clause subject to certain targets.
The defender from Arrasate, who joined on a free transfer from Deportivo Alavés, played a notable role in the two seasons he spent under Ernesto Valverde (64 matches).
In the first of those seasons, he featured in 30 matches as the team qualified for the Champions League and reached the semi-finals of the Europa League.
