Vencedor has ended his contract with Athletic Club
The midfielder ends his time with the Lions having played 82 matches and won one Supercopa title
The relationship between Athletic Club and footballer Unai Vencedor has come to an end. The player’s contract was due to expire on 30 June 2027.
The Rekalde-born midfielder ends his time as a Lion having made 82 first-team appearances and won the 2019–20 Super Cup.
Vencedor, who arrived at Lezama as a youth player from Santutxu FC, moved straight up to Bilbao Athletic without a spell at CD Basconia and, in his second season with the reserve side, made his first-team debut under Gaizka Garitano.
It was under his successor, Marcelino García Toral, that he enjoyed regular first-team selection, even featuring in the Supercopa final against FC Barcelona early in the season.
From there, he went on three consecutive loan spells at SD Eibar, Real Racing Club de Santander and Levante UD, the latter in the top flight.
