Athletic Club lost against RCD Espanyol. The Catalans won 1-2 in Lezama with goals by Torradá and Del Estal. Athletic’s strike was an own goal by Paloma.

In the first half, goalscoring opportunities were very few. Athletic has carried the weight of the encounter, but defensively RCD Espanyol has not given options to the red-and-whites to reach with danger Mimi’s goal. The clearest scoring opportunity came in the 28th minute with a pass from Damaris to L. Garcia. However the visiting goalkeeper prevented Lucia from finishing.
