UDG Tenerife 2-1 Athletic Club
Athletic Club has been defeated 2-1 by Granadilla in the last match of the season after celebrating our fifth title of League the week before. The goals of the local team were scored by Paloma Lázaro and Eva, while Irune M. scored the one for our team in the last minute of the game.
Athletic Club bossed the game from the opening whistle although Ana had a fantastic effort in the fourth but she missed the target. When 20 minutes were gone, Paloma scored the first one.
After the half-time interval, Toni Ayala and Joseba Agirre started to make some substitutions but our team didn’t have any great attempt. Thanks to a counterattack from the hosts, Eva scored the second. In the last minute of the match, thanks to the header from Irune M, Athletic scored its unique goal.
The league is over and now is time to focus for the Cup. Next Saturday, 18th of June, in Las Rozas (Madrid), at midday, our team will play against Levante UD.

Refereee: Jorge López Santos, assisted by Alejandro Luis Marcelino and Crístofer Blandón Castaño. María José and Silvia (Tenerife) were booked as well as Maite and Lizaso from the visiting team.
