Primera Iberdrola Calendar

Athletic Club Femenino already has its roadmap for the new domestic competition, which will be called Primera Iberdrola. The red-and-white squad will start the season officially on September 8 in the Ciudad Deportiva del Levante. The second league day in Lezama will be the fixture against Madrid CF. The third rival of Angel Villacampa will be Valencia Féminas at home. Therefore, the two exits to Valencia will be consecutive.

The derbies against Real Sociedad will arrive in the fifth matchay of the championship, on October 13 (in Donostia) and in the 20th matchday, in mid-February, in Lezama.

The team will close the course against FC Barcelona, current champion of the Queen’s Cup and runner-up in the League, in the Miniestadi on the last day of the competition on 17 May.

The new Primera Iberdrola will be made up of the following teams: Club Atlético de Madrid SAD, FC Barcelona, Athletic Club, UDG Tenerife Egatesa “A”, Valencia Feminas CF “A”, Real Betis Balompie SAD, Real Sociedad de Fútbol SAD, Levante UD SAD, CD Sporting Club de Huelva, Madrid CF Femenino “A”, Rayo Vallecano de Madrid SAD, Sevila FC SAD, RCD Espanyol de Barcelona SAD, CDEF Logroño, CD Tacón and Deportivo Abanca.

Some of the great novelties of this competition will include the figure of a fourth referee or that the numbers of the players are also accompanied by their names.
