This is the fourth meeting of a prolific ‘working group’ that has linked Athletic Club to three top clubs such as Inter de Milán, Southampton FC and Red Bull Salzburg since June 2019. The fourth of these meetings, which are aimed to learn from different aspects of the training and to give each other feedback about different ways to work, has taken place in the headquarters of the British club.
The person in charge of the player support and recruitment departments, Raúl Loroño, and the recruitment manager and also coach of the training categories, José Manuel Moreno, have attended the event as Athletic Club’s representatives. Representatives of the other three teams have joined them too in order to discuss about the process of ‘recruitment’.
These are the fourth sessions Athletic Club, Inter de Milan, Southampton FC and Red Bull Salzburg, members of the Asociación Europea de Clubes, have shared. The previous three meetings were held in 2019. The first of them, celebrated in April, took place in the facilities of the Italian team, the second was held in June in Lezama and the third in November in Austria. Different topics have been discussed in all of them and the plan of this ‘working group’ is to continue accumulating experiences in the following months.
