Raúl García: 300 Official Matches at Athletic Club

Raúl García made his 300th official apperance for Athletic Club during Sunday's clash with RCD Espanyol at San Mamés. The 36-year-old striker joins a group of just 47 Lions who have played 300 or more official matches for Los Rojiblancos.

Raúl made his official Athletic debut on September 13, 2005, in a LaLiga match against Getafe CF at The Cathedral, starting and getting on the scoresheet in the process.

Seven seasons later, the striker has reached the milestone of 300 appearances, something that, among the current squad, is only matched by Iker Muniain (503 appearances), Óscar de Marcos (460 appearances) and Iñaki Williams (344 appearances). In Raúl's time with Athletic, he has also scored a total of 80 goals, being one of the team's most important goalscorers during the last few seasons.
