Vivian: "After a long time, I can say that I’m feeling really good"

The centre-back said he is "ready to give my very best" as he spoke to the press after returning to team training

Dani Vivian has returned to training with the team following his recovery from an adductor muscle in his right leg, which he sustained last season.

During a press conference on Wednesday morning, the defender said he has fully recovered from the problem "after many, months of hard work".

He continued: "After a long time, I can say that I’m feeling really good. I’m very happy with how everything has gone and, above all, to be training with the squad again with the same enthusiasm as ever.”

The Gasteiz-born player is pleased with his recovery process: “Ever since the club set out the programme for me. I’ve had no doubts. It’s been clear to me from the very start. My progress has been good, and, even whilst hoping for the best, I didn’t expect to be where I am today.”

The defender highlighted "the full support of the coaching staff and, above all, from Edin Terzić" during his time on the sidelines, saying: "Edin understood me from the very start and knew how to advise me and give me confidence. I’ve had that support from everyone.”

When asked about the start to the season, Vivian admitted that “the team is doing very well, working with ideas similar to those we’ve been working on. I think that’s our identity. We just need to build on that and start getting the results we’re working towards”.
