Zalla Club President, Ignacio Merino pointed out that ‘Athletic’s favourable and quick response to the request we made to them so that Pedro Urkijo Chavarri, Ex President of our organization and Associate Member of Athletic, could be honoured is very important to us”.

He added that ‘it is also very important to us and our players to be able to measure ourselves up against Athletic and show all the spectators that it is important to get behind the town’s team’.
