Athletic Club defeated Hapoel Kiryat Shmona by 0-2 in the fifth matchday of the UEFA Europa League Group Phase. Llorente, in the first half, and Toquero, in the second, were the scorers of the goals.

Better late than never, and beyond the sorrow for those lost points on the way, for a club like ours it’s of great importance that five players from the youth system have been able to make their debut; such are the cases of Aymeric Laporte, Erik Moran, Alvaro Peña, Iker Undabarrena and Jon Xabier Vidal. 

And before bidding farewell to the European history of San Mamés on 6 December against Sparta Praha, a very difficult Liga meeting awaits us on Saturday against FC Barcelona in the Camp Nou.
