Highlights I CA Osasuna 1-3 Athletic Club I LaLiga MD19

Athletic Club commemorated their 4,000th official fixture and the new year in the best possible way, with Oihan Sancet‘s hat-trick leading the Lions to a 1-3 victory over CA Osasuna at El Sadar.

The home side took the lead early on, Kike García beating Unai Simón with a header from Jon Moncayola’s cross.

Los Rojiblancos’ responded well to going a goal behind and Sancet got his first of the match in the 16th minute. Alex Berenguer launched a counter from deep which saw Iñaki Williams cross in for Sancet to head home.

Ten minutes later, Athletic completed the comeback and went ahead. Sancet’s second came from another cross, this time Oscar de Marcos swung the ball in from the right flank and the forward found the back of the net with a low volley.

Oihan killed off the game and made sure the match ball was his with a 67th-minute strike. Berenguer slid in a low cross and the young forward was once again on hand to send the ball goalwards.
