Athletic Club has been defeated by Valencia CF (0-3), with goals scored by Soldado, the last one from a penalty. It is perhaps an excessively ample result for the merits contracted by both contenders, more so considering that the first two goals came when our team was better on the field.

The first goal came shortly before the break after an unfortunate pass by San Jose intercepted by the forward from Valencia and the second just a few minutes after restart and following a good start of game and pressure by the rojiblancos.
